Ventnor, NJ Yom HaShoah 2004, Remembering the Victims of the Holocaust will be commemorated 7:30 p.m. Tuesday April 20, 2004 at Beth Judah Congregation, 700 N. Swarthmore Ave. in Ventnor.
Kim Fendrick, a hidden child from 1942 to 1944 in Zloczow, Poland, will be the guest speaker. In addition, Walter Jaremkow will be the events special guest of honor. Jaremkow is the eldest grandson of the Polish family that hid, sheltered and fed Kim and 13 other Jews during the Nazi occupation of Poland during World War II.
The event is sponsored by The Holocaust Resource Center of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey; The Jewish Federation of Atlantic and Cape May Counties; Holocaust Survivors Committee; Jewish Community Relations Council; Second Generation of South Jersey; and the South Jersey Board of Rabbis and Cantors.
The community is invited to join and perpetuate the memory of the victims of the Holocaust as individuals.
