Class of 2026
Major: Computer Information Systems
Hometown: Galloway, New Jersey

Why did you choose Stockton?

I chose Stockton because it was conveniently close to my house, and I had heard from many other people how great the school was and how it changed their lives. I also knew I could meet a large commuter community that I could relate to.

How did you choose your major?

I knew I wanted to get into I.T. (Instructional Technology) prior to college, and Computer Information Systems was the closest thing to what I wanted to do. I know I will be able to get a good job in this field.

What other opportunities have you had at Stockton?

I’ve held e-board positions for my clubs and even had an opportunity to go to Greece with the Office of Military and Veteran Services, which I greatly appreciated. The trip invited veteran students or current serving students to take a class based on many topics like Homer’s Odyssey and how military ideals have changed over time.

The most memorable part of this trip was travelling to many parts of Greece and visiting ancient sites and, of course, the hiking because the scenery, no matter where we were, was very beautiful and stunning. If I had the chance to study abroad again, even for just two weeks, I definitely would look into different programs to see what's possible.

How is Stockton preparing you for the next chapter of your life?

I am learning so much about myself and how there are a lot of things that go into making a great person who is transitioning from school into modern society, like better people skills and how it should be working in a team.

What are your career goals?

I want to move to the city and work in an environment where everyone is on good terms with each other. I want to have a stable life that I am content with since I’m more of an introverted person. I am still exploring my options to see exactly how I want to move forward post-undergraduate while gaining experience.
