"Receiving support from the Stockton Foundation alleviates some of the financial struggle
and makes it easier to continue pursuing higher education. Every bit of help counts
and can create an environment where I can focus solely on my education instead of
the finances."
Seth Sims
“As a marine science and environmental science student, you have given me the generous gift of more time in the pines, more time in the water and more time learning instead of stressing over work and bills. I can dedicate myself more fully to the development of the Stockton Aquarium and Aquaculture club as well as my research projects. Your support allows me to bring my full self to an educational setting without the burden of financial worries, which is perhaps the greatest gift of all.”
Nathalee Irene-Sola
"This scholarship will help me pay for a portion of my student debt, allowing me to focus on my academic pursuits and putting all my energy into doing well in my classes. Without your support, I wouldn’t be able to achieve the grades necessary to fulfill my professional ambition of becoming an interpreter to help others."
Shawn O'Grady
“I see your generosity and philanthropy as the ultimate investment in improving our community, because those you help today with this award will be helping those tomorrow with the skills they acquire at Stockton. I will use this investment to be the best counselor and case manager I can be, which has the potential to have a profound impact on our community. If I can change one person’s life for the better, then this scholarship will have been well worth it.”
Navanique Rowe
"With the financial assistance presented to me, I will have gained some relief from my college experience. My scholarship will go towards my tuition defraying the cost of out-of-pocket payment. Being a recipient of the scholarship has motivated me to continue advocating for myself and to be courageous when I’m doubtful."
Suleman Sami
"Thanks to the Stockton University Foundation, I’ve received scholarships and participated in special campus programs that made a huge difference in my college experience. The support even helped fund my trip to a first-generation student career conference in Miami, which was incredible for my future."

Rick Riccardi ’75, ’76
The Stockton faculty and the administration have been my biggest supporters over the years and have done so much to help me succeed and for this I will be forever grateful.
Given the opportunities Stockton has provided to me, I feel an obligation to “pay it forward” to those less fortunate students. As a member of the Stockton Foundation Board, I see the difficulties and frustrations students have trying to finance their education and sometimes the slightest bit of help through a small scholarship can make all the difference in them being able to attend college.”
