WHAT WE’RE TALKING ABOUT
Isaac Mizrahi, Tribute to Taylor Swift to Highlight PAC’s 49th Season
The 49th season of Stockton's Performing Arts Center runs the gamut of theater; from dramatic and comedic plays to powerful tributes to artists both alive and lost, the PAC has something for everybody to enjoy.
Anjanette Christy, director of the PAC, looks forward to this season being a “joyful collision of the classic and the contemporary.”
“We’re bringing the world to our stage – from jazz and Broadway to acrobatics, opera and fresh new voices in dance and theater. We can’t wait to welcome audiences of all ages to experience a celebration of culture and community,” Christy said.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now at stockton.edu/pac with discounts for senior citizens, military, Stockton alumni, faculty, staff and students, and children 17 and under. You can also call the Stockton PAC box office at 609-652-9000.
Stockton Circle K Club Honored with Top Awards
Stockton’s Circle K International chapter brought home several awards following their attendance at June’s Kiwanis International Convention (ICON) in Pittsburgh.
Circle K International is an international student organization that emphasizes the importance of service, leadership and fellowship.
Stockton’s chapter of nearly 200 students meets on Wednesdays throughout the academic year to complete local service projects and hosts a variety of projects in conjunction with Stockton’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service in January.
In addition to Stockton’s chapter being recognized for the Day of Service, successful recruitment efforts and excelling in service and leadership development, individual students were honored for their contributions to the chapter.
“Stockton Circle K shines as a beacon of service — dedicated volunteers who pour their hearts into uplifting our campus family and the broader community, creating lasting change in the lives of our students and neighbors alike,” said the club’s advisor, Brian Pluchino, director of Residential Operations, Facilities and Retention. “I couldn’t be prouder of all they do to make Stockton a kinder, stronger place for everyone, and these tremendous recognitions serve as proof of the kind of student leaders they are.”

Chelucci takes over a Stockton team that will play in the newly formed Colonial Women's Golf Conference this fall. The Ospreys will be one of seven founding members vying for the conference title in the inaugural CWGC Championship at Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford, Pennsylvania on Oct. 26-28.

"I am happy to end my career at Stockton after working under three athletic directors. It was a great run," Silverstein said. His teams finished with a winning record in every one of his 11 seasons and reached double figures in victories four times, highlighted by a 12-win campaign in 2022-23.
