Jesus Barnes shares his music talent with the Stockton University community at many events and most recently sang at the Black History Month flag raising ceremony.

How do I celebrate diversity through music? I feel that music in itself is a celebration of diversity! 

I do not aim to be diverse. I listen to music and I AM diverse! I indulge in all genres! 

Every culture has a music like every culture has its own food, and so the freedom to listen is an inclusive buffet that I am honored to take part in any time I open my mouth to sing! 

This Voice was originally published in 2021. At the time of publication, Barnes was a junior Performing Arts major with a concentration in Theatre. Barnes is now an alum of Stockton University.
