Standardized Test Scores

standardized test

Majors requiring test scores:

  • Dual-Degree Accelerated 7yr. Medical (BS/DO)
  • Dual-Degree Pharmacy (BS/PharmD)
  • Nursing (BSN)

Stockton University is SAT/ACT Optional

Students do not need to submit test scores to be considered for university admission or scholarships!

If submitting test scores, they must be sent to Stockton directly from College Board (SAT code–2889) or ACT (ACT code–2589). This applies to:

  • Applicants for programs requiring test scores (see list on this page)
  • Any student choosing to supply test scores as part of their application file

Super Scoring

Stockton University will super score standardized test results by considering the highest section scores (EBRW, Mathematics) across all SAT test dates. With ACT, rather than limiting scores to one particular date, we will use the highest section scores, forming the highest possible Composite score.

NOTE: Super scoring does not apply to 7-year accelerated medical dual degree or dual-degree pharmacy. These programs require a minimum Math sub-score and minimum combined/composite score from a single testing date.

Test-Optional Procedure

Students applying test optional should answer the Preferred Testing Plan question on The Common Application or the Stockton application with "I will NOT submit SAT or ACT scores and wish to be reviewed under Stockton's test-optional policy."
