Alumni Highlight - Timothy Simon
After graduation, Timothy continued at Stockton working in the theater department helping to produce the program’s productions. He then went on to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where in May of 2024 he graduated with an MFA degree in Theatre, focusing on technical direction. While in graduate school, Timothy had many opportunities such as being the Technical Director for productions at the Nevada Conservatory Theatre and a five-star show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, presented multiple times at the United States Institute for Theatre Technology’s annual conferences. He received awards for his technical direction work from the Southeastern Theater Conference and an honorable mention from the Sphere XO Student Design Challenge for his artwork design for The Sphere in Las Vegas. Outside of theater, Timothy has worked on a few different productions in multiple positions and has recently worked as a camera op for live streaming events.
