Days of Service
The Stockton Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning supports several campus-wide Days of Service every year. These events have become a part of the fabric of our culture and are looked forward to by faculty, staff, students and community partners alike.
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service is Stockton University’s signature annual day of service. It brings together over 900 students, community members and community partners, and often encompasses over 25 projects both on- and off-campus. The goal of days of service are to provide an intensive, community-wide experience for students and to introduce them to partners where they can serve long term and develop an ongoing relationship.

Fall Day of Service
Previous Fall Day of Service projects have included:
- Supporting with clothing distributions with Eastern Service Workers Association
- Beach clean ups
- Developing materials for afterschool programs
- Canvassing communities after Hurricane Sandy
- Food preparation and distribution with The Salvation Army
Organized in conjunction with the Office of Student Development, Fall Day of Service typically occurs on the first Saturday after the beginning of the Fall semester. An opportunity to learn about Atlantic City, see the AC campus and serve with community partners from Atlantic City, it includes both educational and service modules.
