SRI&ETTC Supporting Girls Who Code Clubs as a Community Partner
The Southern Regional Institute and Educational Technology Training Center (SRI&ETTC)
at Stockton University proudly supports the Girls Who Code clubs as a dedicated community partner. Leveraging
our extensive lending library and experienced staff, we provide invaluable resources
and guidance to help these clubs thrive. Our lending library offers a wide range of
coding books, educational materials, physical computing robots, and technology tools
that club facilitators can access to enhance their learning experiences.
Thanks to the CS Coastal Hub Grant from the New Jersey Department of Education, we
offer a variety of PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT workshops TO K-12 TEACHERS, WHICH ARE
designed to HELP THEM empower and inspire young coders. These workshops, covering
essential topics such as coding fundamentals, advanced programming, project-based
learning, and more, are a testament to our commitment to providing a supportive and
resource-rich environment for every participant to develop their coding skills.
Importantly, Girls Who Code clubs are inclusive and welcome all genders, fostering
a diverse and supportive community for everyone interested in coding. Together, we
are committed to fostering a community of innovation and collaboration and empowering
the next generation of coders.
