Our students were briefed by French diplomats who work in the Security Council for over an hour, where they shared strategies and gave suggestions for how to set the agenda and negotiate with fellow diplomats.

NMUN- Kobe, Japan 2022 - OUR FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE SINCE 2018!
In Japan 2022, Stockton represented the Republic of Congo and the Kingdom of Thailand with the following students in alphabetical order: Stephanie Kusi Bamfo (Social Work Major/Minor in Sociology), Camille Benoit (Political Science-International Affairs Major/Global Studies Minor), Luka Buncic (Psychology Major/French Minor), Irenonsen Eigbe (Biology - Pre-Professional Major/Dance Minor), Detty-Maidanove Exantus (Political Science - International Affairs Major/Business Studies Minor), Erin Kee (Political Science Major/ Writing Minor), Michael Klein (Computer Information Systems Major), Emily Kramer (Dual Major in Political Science - International Affairs and Language and Culture Studies/Global Studies Minor), Moujnir Lewis (Psychology Major/Political Science Minor), Lynn Tran (Economics - Pre-Law Major/Political Science Minor), and Allyson Vezos (Biology Major). NMUN-NY 2022- OUR FIRST IN-PERSON NYC CONFERENCE SINCE 2019!
Stockton represented the Republic of Ghana at the NMUN-NY conference in April 2022 with the following students from across the university: Jessica Peoples, Detty-Maidanove Exantus, Natalie Russell, Emily Jennifer Kramer, Sierra Hicks, Kevin Hansen, Iman Habib, Justin Spusta, Robert Niemeyer, Erin Kee, Sydney Bazilian, Joseph Wozniak, Ethar Elsayed, Emmanuel Ibrahim, Lake Forte, Edward Christianson, and Moujnir Lewis. The NMUN NY 2022 Program and information is located here. Prior to the conference, we were briefed by Afua Riverson, Digital Media Advisor for the Office of Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs at the Bureau of African Affairs in the U.S. State Department. She briefed us on the modern communication strategies of the U.S. in Africa and opportunities for careers in the foreign service, and will be returning to Stockton for a virtual career panel for Model UN, Africana Studies, and Communications students.

NMUN-DC 2021- OUR FIRST IN-PERSON CONFERENCE SINCE 2019!
Our delegation for Cuba at the NMUN-DC conference in November 2021 consisted of: Imin Habib, Lake Forte, Erin Kee, Emily Kramer, Robert Neimeyer, Natalie Russell, Jessica Peoples, Ivan Rosales, and Justin Spusta. The NMUN DC 2021 Program is located here. We had the pleasure of meeting with H.E Mr. Yuri A. Gala Lopéz, who serves as Ambassador Extraordinary And Plenipotentiary Deputy Permanent Representative Of Cuba to the UN. He briefed our delegates on Cuba's positions, interests, and work in the UN system to prepare them for the conference.

*A special note about this team: Stockton participated in a Joint Japan-Stockton Team where we partnered with 10 Japanese students from the Japan Model United Nations (JMUN) Association. Each Stockton student paired with a Japanese student and completed all their research and writing from across the world on Google. Yuna Takeshita- Director General and Head Delegate of the 35th Japanese Delegation and Dominic Tierno, Stockton Head Delegate, were in charge. The Japanese team visited Stockton’s campus during spring break where they trained for the conference and participated in cultural tours in Philadelphia and the surrounding area. The entire team was briefed by the Austrian Permanent Mission to the UN prior to the conference.
