The Ombuds Officer hosts information sessions on working with the Ombuds Office as well as workshops on conflict resolution principles, theories and skills, and mediation.

Notable Consultations:

I facilitated/am facilitating conversations among three workgroups with longstanding issues of conflict between management and/or among staff.

  • The first concluded in Q4 with a second group facilitation after individual meetings and an introductory session.
  • The second involved a half-day department retreat in Q4 after individual meetings with all participants.
  • The third commenced this month with individual interviews and a group facilitation expected in Q1 FY 2024/25.
