Strategic Teamwork
Under the auspices of the Vice President for Student Affairs, and in support of university priorities, the Dean of Students office is comprised of important strategic teams that focus on the inclusive engagement, retention and wellness of our student community.
Engagement and Community Development
Enhancement of student life on our Galloway and Atlantic City campuses, involving the offices of:
Event Services and Campus Center Operations
The Office of Event Services and Campus Center Operations is your one stop for planning
and scheduling events at Stockton. This office serves as a liaison between the event
planner and the offices that provide support services for events. Stockton’s multipurpose,
state of the art facilities enable us to service meetings, seminars, conferences,
exhibits, camps, and other special events. The campus also offers a variety of athletic
and recreational facilities as well as on-campus overnight accommodations during the
summer months.
The office also manages building operations for the Campus Center including a lost and found depository, student event ticketing service, the Game Room and a variety of Campus Center sponsored programs.
Student Development
The Office of Student Development is responsible for advisement of college organizations
and their activities as well as leadership development for students involved in the
co-curricular program. Information on clubs and organizations, the Student Senate, OspreyAdvantage program, fraternities and sororities, and non-traditional student services may be
found on its Web site.
Student Health and Wellness
Wellness Center
The goal of the Wellness Center at Stockton is to assist students, faculty, and staff
in reaching an optimal level of health and wellness and to respect the connection
between physical, emotional and mental health and the process of changing behaviors
that contribute to poor health choices. The following offices comprise the Wellness
Center:
Student Transitions, Access and Retention
Collaborate with Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs to support students’ transition to the university, graduation and post-graduate success, as well as support to parents and families, involving the following divisional offices:
Career Education and Development
Career Education & Development guides and assists students and alumni through the
process of developing and implementing comprehensive career and educational plans
that will prepare them for success. The center offers a variety of services including
career counseling, graduate school advising, resume critiques, interview preparation
and assistance with internship and job searching. In addition, Career Education &
Development helps students and graduates connect with employers by offering employer
and networking opportunities including career fairs, on-campus interviewing and alumni
career panels.
Educational Opportunity and Success Programs
- EOF is designed to meet the educational and financial needs of students whose potential
for college may not be reflected in their academic grades and whose economic background
makes it extremely difficult for them to pursue a college education without financial
aid. Information on the Program and eligibility requirements are available on the
EOF Web page.
- Student Success Scholars Program (formerly CARE) is a program designed to assist students with their overall experience
here at Stockton University. The Program aims to help students navigate and maximize
the benefits of various academic and student life resources available at Stockton
and includes individualized mentoring by Stockton faculty and staff and trained peer
mentors.
Military & Veteran Success Center
The Military & Veteran Success Center was created for the purpose of outreach to student
veterans, active service members and reservists. A primary mission of the veteran’s
program is to guide Stockton veterans and active service members to a variety of services
that may benefit them and help them to connect with one another. With the anticipated
return of our troops from overseas, Stockton will further the development of these
programs and services.
Student Transition Programs
The Office of Student Transition Programs strives to provide excellent programing
in the areas of orientation, transition and retention to serve all new undergraduate
students at Stockton University. The office is committed to providing an environment
for inclusion while welcoming and acclimating new students to our institution in collaboration
with Academic Affairs and other campus partners. It also provides programming for
parents and family members to ensure student success from enrollment through commencement.

Women's Gender and Sexuality Center
The Women's, Gender & Sexuality Center empowers students who identify as women and all genders who identify as LGBTQIA+, victims of power-based personal violence, and community allies. WGSC will accomplish this by promoting equality and justice, ensuring access to opportunities, and providing services through education and advocacy.
The Office of Student Conduct oversees Campus Hearing Board process and Campus Conduct Code for students; in addition, we also oversee the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) and the Mediation & Problem Solving Program (MAPS).
