| October 21st, 2015 | The Friends of Hellenic Studies will be hosting the third installment of the Exploring Hellenism: Cyprus celebration. Entitled The Wines of Cyprus, the event will be on October 29th. More information can be found here and here in the Press of Atlantic City. |

| October 5th, 2015 | The Friends of Hellenic Studies invite you to the next two installments of the Exploring Hellenism: Cyprus series. A bus trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to see some Cypriot artefacts followed by dinner at a Greek restaurant in New York, will be on October 17th. Then on October 29th, join the Friends for The Wines of Cyprus. |
| September 23rd, 2015 | The Classical Humanities Society will have a special presentation tonight on recent Stockton University work there. This will also mark the beginning of the Exploring Hellenism: Cyprus celebration, which will be celebrated in four installments throughout the next six months. | September 16th, 2015 | The Exploring Hellenism series returns. After journeys to Crete (2013) and Peloponnesos (2015), we will take a four-part journey to Cyprus. The first installment will be hosted by the Classical Humanities Society on September 23rd and 6 p.m. Then on October 17th, the Friends of Hellenic Studies invite you on a bus trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York to see Cypriot and Byzantine art with Professors Panagakos and Papalexandrou. | July 12th, 2015 | Yannis Simonides, who was featured in two FHS events on The Memoirs of General Makriyiannis and Plato's Apology is currently performing the latter in Athens. Definitely worth seeing for those who have yet to experience this amazing one-man show. |

| February 16th, 2015 | Stockton Theater Program is performing an original English translation of Courtyard of Miracles, by Iakovos Kambanellis, the most important 20th century modern Greek playwright. This will be the world premiere of Demetres P. Tryphonopoulos’ original translation of this modern Greek masterpiece and is directed by Martha Frintzila, of the National Theater of Athens, Greece.The play runs Wednesday February 18-Saturday February 21 at 7:30pm and Sunday February 22 at 2:00pm. Tickets are $10 Regular $8 students. The play will take place in the Experimental Theater (Black Box) which only seats 75 people and it will be presented in the round. Additionally, there will be a free public lecture by Dr. Walter Puchner of the University of Athens, who is the world authority on Kambanelis, on Wednesday February 18 at 4:30pm in L112 (next to Art Gallery) Dr. Puchner is the world authority on Kambanelis. |
