Residential Media and Streaming

As part of our ongoing efforts to adapt to evolving technology and better meet the needs of our students, Comcast residential cable TV & streaming services are no longer offered on campus.

This change was made in close coordination with key departments within the Division of Student Affairs, including the office of Student Development and Residential Life, along with the Student Senate. Together, we evaluated current trends in media consumption and student feedback to ensure this change aligns with how students are currently accessing entertainment today.

To support this transition, we have significantly upgraded our campus internet capacity, enabling faster and more reliable connections for streaming services. This enhancement ensures that residential students can enjoy a seamless experience when using platforms like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and more.

Additionally, Smart TVs and other streaming-capable devices are fully compatible with our campus network. For step-by-step setup instructions, please visit our network connection guide.

We also encourage students to explore a variety of free TV streaming services, including:

These platforms offer a wide range of movies, TV shows, and live channels at no cost.
