Atlantic City Parking Changes for Fall 2024
- Galloway Residential students are permitted to park in the Hartford Avenue Lot during the academic year.
- Atlantic City residential permits will allow for parking in the Atlantic City Parking Garage and Galloway Commuter Lots 0-7.
- Atlantic City Residential permits will not be accepted in the Hartford Lot or Scarpa Academic Center Lot - students will be ticketed.
- Stockton University’s parking operator, B&B Parking, has contracted with Pave Mobility to enforce parking and increase parking revenue in Atlantic City. To be clear, this is not to capture revenue from Stockton staff, faculty and students but from the general public / non-Stockton personnel who park in our parking areas. This summer Pave Mobility will install license plate reader (“LPR”) cameras in the parking garage, Scarpa Academic Center surface parking lot and the Hartford Avenue parking lot. . AC Residential Students will no longer swipe to get into the parking garage, their license plate will be read by the camera and the gate will open. Pave Mobility and our vehicle permit registration software, AIMS, are able to communicate with each other so students/staff/faculty still only have to register their vehicle one time a year through AIMS. Unregistered vehicles in Atlantic City will be ticketed by Pave Mobility or be denied access to the parking garage. It is very important for all students/staff/faculty to register the vehicle in order to avoid citations. The Atlantic City citations will not be managed by Stockton but by B&B and Pave Mobility.Parking will no longer be free to visitors coming to Stockton unless the event validates their parking or they are coming for an admissions tour or other Stockton related purpose. Friends and families visiting students in AC must use the QR code to register and pay for parking in order to avoid a citation. Galloway residential students and commuter students will be able to park in the Hartford Avenue Lot, but they must register their vehicle through AIMS in order to avoid a citation. Stockton staff and faculty can park in the Scarpa Academic Lot or parking garage if the lot is full. Stockton students, staff and faculty do not have to use the QR codes to pay to park in Atlantic City but they must register their vehicle to avoid a citation. Pave Mobility will be flexible with us the first 2-3 weeks of each semester to make sure vehicles are registered and parking in the correct lots in AC.
