Are you looking for a more cost effective way of getting to and from work or school?
Have you tried carpooling? Cross County Connection (CCCTMA, South Jersey’s Transportation
Management Association) provides a free ridematch service to help you find a suitable
carpooling partner based on your commute patterns—origin, destination, start and ending
times. Depending on the distance traveled and the number of passengers, the savings
can add up quickly. For more information and to find a ridematch for free, visit CCC’s
carpooling website:

Commuter Tax$ave Program
Stockton participates in the Commuter Tax$ave program, which allows employees to pay for qualified mass transit commuting and parking expenses with your pretax salary, up to certain federal limits. Paying with pretax salary means you use your salary before federal taxes are taken out. When you pay for your commute with pretax salary instead of after tax salary, you save on the taxes you normally pay. For more information and for enrollment forms, please visit Stockton’s Human Resources website.
Bicycle Commuter program for employees
In an effort to support sustainable practices and promote healthier lifestyles, Stockton offers a bicycle commuter reimbursement benefit. The benefit will allow for a monthly reimbursement of up to $20 per month for cycling expenses incurred by an employee. For more detailed information and enrollment forms, please visit Stockton’s Human Resources website:
Bike Share program for Main Campus residential students
The Office of Residential Life owns over 20 bicycles that residential students can borrow for each semester. Due to the overwhelming demand of students requesting bicycles, a lottery takes place to determine who can borrow a bike and who cannot. Learn more information about our bike share program.
