Academic Information
Preceptors, students and parents can use these links to further clarify the advising process at Stockton University.
The student and preceptor relationship is highly valued at Stockton. We view advising as teaching. Preceptors must be available to meet with students and help them plan a course of study that meets their educational goals. Students are responsible for learning curricular requirements, clarifying their long-range educational and career goals, and preparing for advising meetings. The Stockton Advising Council has endorsed a "best practices" document for students and preceptors.
