Where do I get tutoring?
Starting Fall 2026, our main location will be on the ground floor of the Library, room E-066. We also offer tutoring at the Townsend Residential Life Center (TRLC), Atlantic City Kesselman Hall, and online. Check the Math Center schedule and Writing Center schedule for more details. For the most up-to-date scheduling information, login to Ospreys Navigate.
Do I need an appointment to get tutoring help?
Face-to-face and online tutoring are offered on a drop-in basis. The Writing Center also offers some appointments booked through Ospreys Navigate. Please see the Writing Center schedule for details.

Is there online tutoring?
We offer online tutoring in addition to face-to-face tutoring. Please see the Math Center schedule and Writing Center schedule for more details.
Is there night or weekend tutoring?
Both the Math Center and Writing Center will provide online and in-person evening tutoring Mondays through Thursdays beginning on Monday of the second week of the semester. There will also be online Sunday evening tutoring. Please see the Math Center schedule and Writing Center schedule for more details.
How do I find tutoring for chemistry, physics, business, economics, programming, or statistics?
The Math Center offers tutoring in a wide range of math-related (Q1, Q2) courses. Please visit our schedule and select the course you need help with to see the available times and locations.
Can anyone work with me on reading comprehension?
Yes: Peer writing consultants can share tips on active reading, but without doing your reading or telling you what to think about it.
Can the Writing Center help me with research?
Absolutely! You can work with a peer writer at all stages of the research process. You can also make an appointment with a research librarian to help you find scholarly sources.
I really like working with a certain tutor. When are they available?
A list of tutors for the Math Center and for the Writing Center is available. You can view individual tutor schedules by clicking on their names.
Can I receive tutoring help on an exam?
No, unless the instructor explicitly states otherwise in writing.
