1887. This one-story frame building has an L-shaped footprint. This building was erected in the spring of 1887 by William Bernshouse and served as town hall. From 1928 to 1959, it served as the Hammonton Public Library. In 1939, it was remodeled by the WPA. From 1959 to 1965, it was a kindergarten. In 1976, it was turned into the museum of the Historical Society of Hammonton, a use that continues today. It was moved to its present site in 2007 from its original location on Vine Street when the new town hall was built there.
