The Women's, Gender & Sexuality Center (WGSC) Lounge is a welcoming space where students can relax, study, connect with others, and be themselves.
Whether you're looking for a quiet place between classes, catching up with friends, or interested in exploring conversations around gender, sexuality, and identity, there's a place for you at the WGSC.
Our lounge is open to all members of the Stockton community. We encourage everyone who visits to contribute to an environment rooted in mutual respect, inclusion, and belonging.
All are welcome, and respect is expected.

Relax and Recharge
Take a break between classes in our colorful, comfortable lounge. With couches, bean bag chairs, and plenty of space to unwind, the WGSC is a great place to recharge during a busy day.
Study and Connect
Need somewhere to work on an assignment or meet with classmates? Our lounge offers tables and comfortable seating for individual studying, group projects, or casual conversations.
Coffee and Refreshments
Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea while visiting the center. Our kitchenette includes a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and toaster for student use.
Lending Library
Explore our collection of books covering feminism, gender, sexuality, LGBTQIA+ experiences, social justice, and more. Students are welcome to read in the lounge or inquire about borrowing books from our collection.
Games and Activities
Looking for something fun? We have board games, coloring materials, and other activities available for students to enjoy individually or with friends. Get creative and leave your mark on the WGSC Lounge's permanent chalk wall! Created in 2019 by Stockton alum Megan Casper '19, this colorful feature is the perfect backdrop for selfies, group photos, or adding your own artistic touch to the space.

Inclusive Facilities and Resources
The WGSC is more than a place to relax. Our center also provides access to resources designed to support the Stockton community.
All-Gender Restroom: An inclusive restroom available to individuals of all gender identities and expressions.
Lactation Room: A private space for individuals who need to breastfeed, pump, or express milk. Contact WGSC staff for information about accessing the room.
Personal Care Supplies: Complimentary menstrual products, condoms, and other supplies are available while inventory lasts.
Gender-Affirming Resources: Learn more about the WGSC's A Whole New Closet initiative and other resources supporting gender identity and expression.

Programs and Events
The WGSC Lounge is also a gathering space for educational programs, community conversations, and student activities throughout the academic year.
Our programming explores topics including gender equity, LGBTQIA+ identities, healthy relationships, violence prevention, and social justice.
Students are encouraged to attend programs, connect with others, and share ideas for future events.
