Elijah is a second year graduate student at Stockton pursuing a M.S. in Coastal Zone
Management while finishing up a B.S. in Sustainability and Minor in Behavioral Science.
Prior to working in the WGSC, Elijah served as the Graduate Coordinator for Stockton’s
Health Outreach, Promotion, and Education Services (HOPE), working closely with the
Wellness Center Peer Educators to make health education and resources accessible on
campus. Elijah has held numerous leadership positions, including President of Active
Minds, Graduate Student College Leader of Stockton’s grant partnership with the Truth
Initiative, and as Resident Assistant (RA) of First-year Gender-Inclusive Housing
(GIH), working closely to provide targeted program to LGBTQIA+ affiliated students
on Stockton’s campus. Elijah has a strong passion advocating for the rights of marine
mammals, which extends to his advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community. After his time
at Stockton, he plans to pursue a doctorate studying bioacoustics in killer whales.
He is excited to provide queer-related events, programs, and resources to a greater
breadth of students on campus as he moves into his new role in the WGSC. Education:
