Job Description: The Graduate Internship position will be focused on the development and implementation of new and preexisting WGSC programs. Successful candidates will work alongside WGSC staff, interns, volunteers and sexual assault advocates to assist in promoting the mission and vision of the WGSC.

Title: Power-based Personal Violence (PBPV) Peer Educator
Unpaid Volunteer Opportunity still available for the 25-26 school year!
Qualifications: To apply, you must be a currently enrolled student and successfully completed a 40-hour Advocacy training or the four-credit Peer Education class, GEN 2241.
Job Description: The PBPV Peer Educator volunteer position is an important role within our university community, dedicated to raising awareness about dating violence, sexual assault, stalking and bullying. PBPV Peer Educators will engage in various campus-wide initiatives aimed at educating in the prevention of PBPV, promoting consent, healthy relationships, and bystander intervention. Responsibilities include conducting tabling, hosting educational workshops, organizing awareness campaigns, and facilitating discussions on topics related to power-based personal violence. PBPV Peer Educators will collaborate with campus organizations, student groups, and university departments to create a safer and more inclusive campus environment.

Title: Graduate Coordinator, Prevention Initiatives

The Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Center (WGSC) at Stockton University is seeking a
passionate and committed Graduate Coordinator for Prevention Initiatives. This paid
position is ideal for a student who is interested in advancing equity, advocacy, and
education around gender-based violence, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and social justice.
Qualifications:

Must be currently enrolled at Stockton University and in good academic standing

Preference given to graduate students; exceptional undergraduate candidates may also be considered

Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice

Experience working with or advocating for women, LGBTQIA+ communities, and/or survivors of power-based personal violence

Ability to collaborate across departments and student groups
Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and assess campus-wide programming focused on prevention, education, and awareness around gender, sexuality, and interpersonal violence

Support outreach and engagement with diverse student populations through inclusive and trauma-informed practices

Serve as a peer educator, resource, and campus liaison on prevention initiatives

Coordinate with campus partners to co-sponsor events and initiatives

Contribute to the visibility of WGSC programming through public speaking, tabling, and digital outreach
