Inclusive Workplace Strategies
These series of trainings were developed in direct response to a recommendation from the 2017 Faculty/Staff Campus Climate Survey. The recommendation stated: "It is also recommended that recurring training opportunities for faculty, staff, administrators, supervisors and managers in implicit bias, microaggressions, inclusion and anti-bullying be undertaken.
The five topics covered in this series include Standing Up to Bullying, Preventing Hostile Work Environment Harassment, Embracing Diversity & Inclusion, Overcoming Unconscious Bias and Understanding Microaggressions. The introduction training for each topic has been packaged as 30-minutes and topics can be covered one at a time, in pairs, or groups. The goal is to get all employees through all five trainings and additional training opportunities on these topics will be forthcoming.
Please contact Christy Cunningham to schedule your office, department, or employee group for any of these trainings.
